In May 2005 the association Chairman, Derek Johnson finally enjoyed one of his 50th birthday presents - a flying lesson from Shoreham Airport near Brighton. Please click here to see some aerial photographs of Hurst Green and the rest of East Sussex taken during the one hour flight.

Chairman Derek Johnson addresses the masses at his 50th birthday. The event was attended by many friends from Ellerhoop.

When TwinningTimes "moved home" to its current location at http://twinning.rjnet.co.uk all of the files with its previous incarnation were copied there with it. These included among others, a number of photographs which had been displayed on an earlier version of the site, but which had not been linked to for quite some time.
